So many of the same simple principles apply in creating a dance as it does in creating a picture book.

​

Finding an interesting rhythm and putting words together for picture books has been my favorite aspect in writing, especially using my dance choreography background and instinct knowing what appeals to kids and age appropriateness.

​

Writing is the movement of words. They move forward a story, they move together to work in a complementary way and they move into our hearts creating memorable characters and stories we love.
